Software Engineer
For this role we are specifically seeking someone with at least a year's experience using one or more of: Java Server Faces, Ajax or RichFaces. You will develop Triometric's software products, carrying out all parts of the software lifecycle including design, coding and testing software written in Java, C, SQL, PL/SQL and other languages and tools used by Triometric.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Designing software product functions based on requirements provided by the team leader.
- Writing software code for product functions using Java, C, SQL, PL/SQL, Bash, Web languages (HTML, RichFaces, Javascript) and other languages and tools.
- Writing test plans and carrying out tests on product functions.
- Diagnosing and resolving problems in software products.
- Reviewing the work of other team members and helping them to resolve difficult problems.
- Sharing specific knowledge of Triometric software products and other software technologies with other Triometric employees as required.
- Following all relevant product development standards.

Triometric is a specialist in Web application performance monitoring. Our software and services are used by blue chip enterprises including global corporations running distributed Web applications, information providers and large online retailers. This role is suitable for a recent Computer Science degree graduate. You will develop Triometric's software products, carrying out all parts of the software lifecycle including design, coding and testing software written in Java, C, SQL, PL/SQL and other languages and tools used by Triometric.

Required qualifications:
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
- Intermediate to advanced ability to write programs in C or Java.
- Knowledge of SQL and databases (ideally Oracle.)
- Ability to understand complex customer requirements and transform these into designs for efficient and usable software.
- Good written and oral communications skills.
- Good interpersonal skills including the ability to cooperate with other team members
Compensation:
Starting salary £22,000 to £24,000 per year depending on qualifications and experience. Triometric also offers all employees 22 days paid holiday plus paid bank holidays per year.
